My Nadine West Outfit for September!

Hey! Above is my unbagging video of my first Nadine West outfit!
Nadine West is a subscription service that's sort of free! It's free as in, you sign up, they send you an outfit (shirt, some jewelry items), you try on everything, and what you don't like, you send back, what you do like, you pay for. And no worries you can pick out what kind of price range you're looking for when you take your style quiz. Everything I received was less than $20 each, and from the other YouTube videos I've seen, most of the shirts you could receive stay in the $13-$17 range.
The necklace as I mentioned in the description below my video on YouTube you can probably get at Kohls, because they carry the Sonoma brand. And who doesn't love Kohls?
But anyways here's the pic of what everything looked like all together, on me!
Pardon my hair, that's what it tends to look like when I don't straighten it. It likes to flip out, and under, and go all different directions. =) I put a cami under the tank I receive because I'm not the type to go around wearing a sheer top showing my bra. lol The size tank I received was a large, and it fit perfect. The jewelry went really well with the tank. I'm not use to wearing bigger earrings, so these I'll have to get use to, but they go along with my "boho" theme.  I highly recommend giving this company a try, cause what could it hurt? You can try them for free!

My September Ipsy bag!

Above is my September Ipsy unboxing video! Hope you enjoy it, cause I really enjoy everything I received. Speaking of things I received here's the list:
Be a Bombshell Smooth Criminal Powder: Retail price for full size, $12.00
Avon Big & Daring Mascara: Reg. price $9.00, on sale for $6.99
Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss: Retail price $19.00
Pacifica Nail Polish: Retail Price $9.00
Mitchell & Peach Hand Cream- Retail Price $17.00 would be a few dollars more in US dollars.

Ok, first of all like I said in the video this is my first Ipsy bag. And I'm very happy with it. The only thing I might not use that much of is the hand cream. It didn't smell very unique at all, kinda reminded me of a medical hand cream. I was thinking that it would smell better. It did adsorb really fast, within seconds the lotion was gone. My hands do feel very smooth, but I think I'd rather buy a better smelling hand cream for the price of this one.
The smooth criminal powder was weird to put on. I tried a brush first, and it was going everywhere all in the air. And I was afraid to inhale it, cause all it is, is silica powder. So I ended up using my fingers to apply it.  It doesn't make my skin feel ashy, or anything, so I can see myself using this on top of my make-up.
The Pacifica nail polish I got was in the color red, red wine. Which is a very pretty fall color. Can't wait to get this on my toes. (I don't really paint my fingernails that often cause I get tired of the chipping and peeling.) It covers really well, you might need two coats, but I say you'll only need one.
The big and daring mascara was another thing I really loved. It picked up all my lashes perfectly, not a lot of clumping at all. I felt like my lashes looked beautiful. =)
My favorite thing in this bag was the Cailyn Lipgloss. It was so pigmented, there was no need to have lipstick under it. I love the way it looks and feels on my lips. And it wasn't sticky at all. =)

So do I recommend Ipsy? Yes I do. Some who have had Ipsy a while, might say otherwise, because they've gotten so many eye liners, or not enough make-up, etc. But if you're looking for a cheap way to get deluxe size samples of makeup to try each month, and you're wanting to expand your comfort zone, I'd go with Ipsy. Now if you're wanting full size products, there's other makeup subscriptions out there, such as Lip Factory and Boxy Charm. I have tried Lip Factory and I'm subscribed to it now. Boxy Charm I haven't tried, but I think the difference is that with Lip factory you create your beauty profile, and they select products that will go with your skin tone, and such, Boxy Charm I don't think has anything like that. Lip Factory is $22/mth and you get 5-7 full size makeup products, Boxy Charm is $21/mth and you get up to 5, I think.I will be posting my review of my first Lip Factory box also. =)

But anyways you can join Ipsy here:  http://www.ipsy.com/r/1qour?sid=ipsypoints&cid=general

And you can join Lip Factory here: www.lipfactoryinc.net my referral code is :  387355

I do not get paid for doing reviews, I get points towards extra stuff in my boxes, if you click my link or use my referral code. I pay for my own boxes. =)

Julep Subscription box review

Well this is my first Julep subscription box, un-boxing. (Video above)
I received my box yesterday, and un-boxed it today. Over-all I was happy with the box. The nail polish colors I received are Padma "Classic with a Twist", Janel "Bombshell", Stevie "Boho-Glam", and Julep Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum.
Padma is a satin, dark purple color, very thick. You'd probably only have to use one coat. Janel is another satin polish, but it's a bit sheer, so I'd say two coats of it. The Stevie, is a pewter color, and is also a bit sheer, so two coats would be needed. I haven't tried the serum yet, but I do plan on trying it, cause my cuticles are dry. And anything that can help my nails, I'm all for. =)
Now, is this box worth it? You know I love the colors, but I'm not wanting a nail polish subscription box. I'd like to build up my make -up not nail polish. They do have boxes with make-up included. But it's their brand. I want to try different brands. And nail polish just chips to much for me to pay for a subscription box for it. =/
So No, it's not for me. But if it's for you, check out their website. http://www.julep.com/ Use code FREECITY for your free box. You will have to pay for shipping and it will sign you up for a subscription.
I did see a few YouTube videos showing this box for kids I'd like to get. It has different experiments included, that you and your kids can do. And since I already have a few subscription boxes for myself, I figure why not have something for them.
I've posted my other subscription links in my description on my video. Check them out! Can't wait to get my other boxes/bags!

Elf Beauty Bundle September

Above you'll find my unboxing video of my Elf Beauty Bundle. (It's pretty long, mostly cause of my introduction) I ordered this around the first of the month and received it September 9. After I placed my order within a few hours I was sent a shipping email. So they ship very fast. This is because everyone gets the same things in their bag. The bags ship out every 8 weeks. When I ordered mine it was towards the end of the 8 week cycle, so I received what everyone received in August. I was kind of disappointed with that, and hoped I'd get something different.
But I didn't. =) So here's a list of stuff I received, and how much it cost.

Baked Eye shadow palette "Texas" $10
Glitter Eye shadow primer $2
Natural Lash Kit $1
Moisturizing Lip Stick "Party in the Buff" $3
Contouring Blush and Bronzing Cream "St. Lucia" $3
Mineral Booster "Sheer" $8
Mineral infused Face Primer "Clear" $6
3 in 1 Base, Top & Strengthener $2
Kabuki Face Brush $6
Total amount for this bundle is $41. I paid $27.99

Out of all these products, I'll probably use the blush/bronzing cream, the 3 in 1 polish, face primer, kabuki brush, and the lipstick the most. So I've put aside the mineral booster, glitter eye shadow primer and the lashes for a possible give away in the future. Yes I opened the Booster powder but just to sample the powder, and then I sealed it back up. The other two things have never been opened. So later on after I receive a few more bags, together with other stuff I might not want, I think this will make a good give away.
The stuff was packaged well, except for a couple things which I show in the video. The blush/bronzing duo and the eye shadow palette was packaged very nicely. It's very smooth and sleek looking. Doesn't look cheap at all. Same goes for the face primer.

So was this worth it? Yes and No, for me. If you're ok with getting the same thing everyone else that subscribes gets, and paying $27.99 every 8 weeks, not knowing if you're gonna get a color that's for your skin tone.. then Go for it! For me this is a no. I'm also subscribed to Ipsy, Lip Monthly, and Lip Factory, 2 out of those three allow you to take a quiz asking what your hair color is, skin tone, etc. Elf doesn't offer this, so you might get colors that don't work with your skin tone. So I'd rather stick with the companies that go somewhat by my looks, and what I like. Videos coming soon of those. (As soon as I get them! lol)
