Whats up! I'm back! Lets talk Black Sails, and The Walking Dead!!

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I've been busy dealing with some personal issues. This post is about the season finales of two of my favorite shows. Spoilers ahead! If you haven't watched them, don't read this. If you haven't watched the shows at all, I suggest you do, and start from Season 1! =)
But anyways, I'm back now, and ready to talk about a couple season finales for my favorite shows!!
Lets start with a show that I just stumbled across this year, Black Sails. I watched a few episodes, and then watched nothing but the show, until I was all caught up. I've watched every episode this season, and I thought the finale was awesome!! With this show I've noticed that it has a couple episodes where its kinda blah, nothing much is going on, but pirates being sneaky, and starting stuff. But the story is still good. Not every episode can be a big bang. The finale though, that was a big bang definitely! In the previous episode Captain Flint's companion/friend/booty call, was killed, that really surprised me. It was really fast,(reminded me of Beth's death in The Walking Dead) she was yelling at Mr. Ashby (was that his name? lol) and then BANG, she's dead. Honestly I can't even remember her name except her last name was Hamilton. I don't really pay attention to the names of characters I'm not totally into. And I wasn't into her, I didn't get their relationship. I know they both loved Todd Hamilton, and that's about it. Eleanor Guthrie got arrested in the previous episode also, which I'm kind of like YAY!! FINALLY! She gets on my nerves a little with the way she acts around the handsome, sexy Captain Vane. Seriously again, who wouldn't want him?? And in the finale who was it that came to the rescue of Captain Flint? None other than Captain Charles Vane! I have to admit, Vane had bad intentions at first, but then I guess he realized that after what Flint had seen and experienced in Charles Town Flint had changed. And Flint realized that Vane's plans for Nassau wasn't horrible, and made sense. The end of the finale shows Max gazing upon the Spanish gold. The crew she helped put together actually made the trip and got the gold. Jack and Anne were back together, and all looks like a happy ending. Charles Town looked like it was burning to the ground. But what now, what happens when Flint and Vane return to Nassau? Will Vane rescue Eleanor after all she put him through? And John Silver, is now a peg leg pirate. Wonder when he'll get his wooden leg or crutch? And I didn't realize this till I googled the cast, but the character's name is Long John Silver......seriously, how did I miss this!! But I have to put this out there, I have never read Treasure Island, and apparently he's Captain Flint's Quartermaster in the book also. In the finale, he has just became quartermaster. Wonder when he'll get his parrot? ;) And if you haven't read Treasure Island, like I haven't, then you'll now realize that the restaurant Long John Silver's is named after the quartermaster in Treasure Island. Overall I loved this finale, and can't wait till next season.

Ok, now onto The Walking Dead! Let's talk zombies, and how crazy Rick was acting, but it actually made sense.
Ok, for a minute there, I really thought Rick was gonna ruin everything for the group, him or Gabriel. One of them would ruin it. And I really wanted to jump into the show and smack Gabriel for saying those things to Deanna about the group, and Rick. He just joined them not to long ago, and has his own problems, so he has no right to say anything about them. After I seen how Rick was acting towards Jessie in Alexandria I googled the character to see that indeed they do have a relationship in the comics after her husband is killed, which happened in the finale. Deanna gave Rick the approval he needed to shoot Pete (Jessie's husband). This was after Pete came in with Michonne's sword and slashed Deanna's husband's throat. I guess she finally is realizing Rick is right about things. There is more danger outside the walls, more danger other than the walkers. Morgan is back, and at the end of the episode right after rick shoots Pete you see Morgan, Daryl, and Aaron looking right at Rick. I think Morgan will have some things to say to Rick about what he just witnessed. But I think Morgan and Rick have experienced different things, but maybe it's resulted in different things for them. Rick sees the world one way, maybe the way Morgan use to when he almost killed Rick. Or maybe Morgan hasn't experienced exactly what Rick and his group has with the Governor, the Prison, Terminus, the claimed gang... that is a lot. So maybe Morgan sees things the way the Rick did before Prison got real bad, and Terminus. Rick trusted people more, and let them live often. Now he doesn't trust anyone. And in a zombie apocalypse can you really trust people? I think eventually Morgan will see what needs to be done. Maybe once the wolves attack Alexandria.
I do think Rick did the right thing with Pete, but maybe he could have banished him.. but if he did that, what if Pete came back with people and attacked. (like the Governor) And of course there isn't a jail, or a rehab facility for people like Pete in this world. The group hasn't ran into any good doctors since Hershel, and he wasn't even a doctor he was a vet. lol
Of course Carol was awesome as always in the finale. She threatened Pete, and really pissed him off. But I do think he was scared of her, and knew she could kill him. And that's what made him even more pissed. Carol is so awesome, and one of my favorite characters. But honestly she was making Rick think about things, and putting bad stuff in his head. "you know what you have to do Rick, you have to kill him", really Carol there's no other option. Of course really I guess there wasn't, but she sounded a little crazy, it made me think, is Rick really running the group or is Carol putting idea's in his head?
Back to Morgan I seen a video somewhere that showed Morgan using his walking stick to defend off walkers, but it was a light saber instead of a walking stick. That was awesome, he seriously could've been a Jedi, Michonne too I think. =) But in the finale, he did fight amazingly. It's like all of a sudden Morgan is like a male Michonne. He helped save Daryl and Aaron's life. So I'm glad he was there, cause I don't want Daryl to die, but if he did I'd still watch the show, like I posted before. =) Aaron left his backpack behind in the trap set by the wolves, and they had all his pictures and stuff of the community. So it doesn't look good for Alexandria. Looks like they need to learn how to defend their fort, pretty quick.
Like always this was an awesome finale for the show, surprisingly no one important died. I thought Glenn was going to, cause he was in the woods fighting with Nicholas, but they fought and worked things out. (I don't see how, I wouldn't want to work things out with someone who shot me. lol) But none of the characters died, except for Pete. And no one really cares about him. I guess no one died in the finale because there was plenty of sadness this season already with the deaths of Beth, Tyrese, and Noah. All fantastic scenes by the way. Overall like always with the Walking Dead finales, I loved it. =)
Can't wait till next season!! I really want to visit Senoia again soon!
