Furious 7 Review, Is it the end?

Well, just got back from watching Furious 7. I have to admit I've been calling it Fast 7 this whole time. lol But anyways spoilers ahead, so if you haven't seen it yet, don't read this post, and definitely go see the movie, if you liked the others, you'll like this one too.
I'm not one of those fans of the movies that is obsessed, but I am a fan, and I've enjoyed all the movies in this franchise. I, like others probably, was curious to see how they would finish this movie with the tragic death of Paul Walker. (RIP) I figured since he had filmed so much of it already that they would do some type of CGI work on his face for scenes he hadn't finished. But let me tell you, in my opinion the work they did do, was awesome. Nothing at all like the "botched" CGI work on the baby in the Breaking Dawn movies. That was so crazy and just silly, the baby looked like a cartoon character. I'm sure there are fans out there, who knew exactly when it wasn't Paul Walker. But me, I cheated, I looked at a few articles online, and seen what the CGI face looked like, so after that, I knew exactly what scenes he wasn't in. I'm not gonna mention those scenes here, because if you haven't seen it yet, I want to know if you can tell at all that his face was CGI. Like I said, I'm sure there will be fans that can tell. But if I hadn't looked at the pictures I found, I wouldn't have been able to tell. That is how awesome of a job they did.
Was it a tribute to him? In some ways, I definitely seen a type of tribute during the movie. It was very obvious at the end, that, the end scene was a tribute. It ended with the crew looking on, as Brian played on the beach, with Mia (pregnant again), and their son Jack. It showed each crew member giving a kinda nod of approval, it was like they each were saying goodbye to the character of Brian. Dom (Vin Diesel) snuck out and didn't say goodbye, but as he drove away and white car pulled up beside him and it was Brian teasing him about not saying goodbye. They drove off side by side, then each went different directions. I think it was a great send off to the character and to Paul Walker. I think the color of the car, being white, was kind of heavenly in a way. There was also a small montage of Paul Walker as Brian, with Vin Diesel saying a few words about his "brother". It was a sad, but very good ending for the character, and movie. This ending leads me to believe that there probably won't be another movie. There wasn't an "extra" at the end, like the other movies. So with this ending, I just don't see it. But you never know, they were talking about there being 8 movies total. Also with the movie ending the way it did, should there be another one? When is enough, enough? I think it would be ok for the movies to end with this one. It was a good ending, so I'd be happy with it. Could they make another one, just as successful? Yea I think so, if they stick with the characters. All of the ones with the original characters have been pretty good, and very successful. Of course the character of Brian/Paul Walker would be gone, but I think the actor would want it to continue, if they could do it. But yet with the ending being so great on Furious 7, I'd be happy with it stopping now. I think other fans would be as well. It reminds me of the show Son's of Anarchy, and how the series ended. No one really wanted Jax to die, but he did, and it was a great ending for the show. That was a show you can watch over and over and never get tired of it. This franchise of movies is like that, they're great, when you see them on TV you stop and watch them. I'm sure not everyone has seen the movies. But for me, they bring back memories, especially the first. I loved seeing the first one in the theater with my friends. =) The first is still my favorite out of all the movies.
A couple of other things that happened during this movie was the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) didn't really have much of a role as he has in the last two. That role was filled with Kurt Russel taking over as support for Dom. But at the end, the Rock (Hobs) did show up and help. They had a funeral for Han or Hon, which we expected. Something I didn't expect was finding out that Dom and Letty had gotten married! And you don't find that out till Letty gets her memories back! Which you see throughout the movie, her having flashbacks, or remembering stuff. But you don't find out that she remembers everything till Dom almost dies. I thought for a second he was going to. Just like Shaw's brother played by Jason Statham. You would think falling into some rocks and having large amounts of rocks thrown on you, that it would kill you. But it didn't, he ended up in maximum security prison. Like, his cell was at the end of a hallway that had guns on both sides of the walls that's the kind of maximum security I'm talking about. But other than all that I've mentioned, that was basically the movie. There was tons of action, that I'm not gonna get into details about, there was sad moments, happy moments, and funny moments. But overall I loved the movie, of course I'd like to see more, but I think Furious 7 is a perfect ending to all the previous movies, and a great tribute to Paul Walker.

Whats up! I'm back! Lets talk Black Sails, and The Walking Dead!!

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I've been busy dealing with some personal issues. This post is about the season finales of two of my favorite shows. Spoilers ahead! If you haven't watched them, don't read this. If you haven't watched the shows at all, I suggest you do, and start from Season 1! =)
But anyways, I'm back now, and ready to talk about a couple season finales for my favorite shows!!
Lets start with a show that I just stumbled across this year, Black Sails. I watched a few episodes, and then watched nothing but the show, until I was all caught up. I've watched every episode this season, and I thought the finale was awesome!! With this show I've noticed that it has a couple episodes where its kinda blah, nothing much is going on, but pirates being sneaky, and starting stuff. But the story is still good. Not every episode can be a big bang. The finale though, that was a big bang definitely! In the previous episode Captain Flint's companion/friend/booty call, was killed, that really surprised me. It was really fast,(reminded me of Beth's death in The Walking Dead) she was yelling at Mr. Ashby (was that his name? lol) and then BANG, she's dead. Honestly I can't even remember her name except her last name was Hamilton. I don't really pay attention to the names of characters I'm not totally into. And I wasn't into her, I didn't get their relationship. I know they both loved Todd Hamilton, and that's about it. Eleanor Guthrie got arrested in the previous episode also, which I'm kind of like YAY!! FINALLY! She gets on my nerves a little with the way she acts around the handsome, sexy Captain Vane. Seriously again, who wouldn't want him?? And in the finale who was it that came to the rescue of Captain Flint? None other than Captain Charles Vane! I have to admit, Vane had bad intentions at first, but then I guess he realized that after what Flint had seen and experienced in Charles Town Flint had changed. And Flint realized that Vane's plans for Nassau wasn't horrible, and made sense. The end of the finale shows Max gazing upon the Spanish gold. The crew she helped put together actually made the trip and got the gold. Jack and Anne were back together, and all looks like a happy ending. Charles Town looked like it was burning to the ground. But what now, what happens when Flint and Vane return to Nassau? Will Vane rescue Eleanor after all she put him through? And John Silver, is now a peg leg pirate. Wonder when he'll get his wooden leg or crutch? And I didn't realize this till I googled the cast, but the character's name is Long John Silver......seriously, how did I miss this!! But I have to put this out there, I have never read Treasure Island, and apparently he's Captain Flint's Quartermaster in the book also. In the finale, he has just became quartermaster. Wonder when he'll get his parrot? ;) And if you haven't read Treasure Island, like I haven't, then you'll now realize that the restaurant Long John Silver's is named after the quartermaster in Treasure Island. Overall I loved this finale, and can't wait till next season.

Ok, now onto The Walking Dead! Let's talk zombies, and how crazy Rick was acting, but it actually made sense.
Ok, for a minute there, I really thought Rick was gonna ruin everything for the group, him or Gabriel. One of them would ruin it. And I really wanted to jump into the show and smack Gabriel for saying those things to Deanna about the group, and Rick. He just joined them not to long ago, and has his own problems, so he has no right to say anything about them. After I seen how Rick was acting towards Jessie in Alexandria I googled the character to see that indeed they do have a relationship in the comics after her husband is killed, which happened in the finale. Deanna gave Rick the approval he needed to shoot Pete (Jessie's husband). This was after Pete came in with Michonne's sword and slashed Deanna's husband's throat. I guess she finally is realizing Rick is right about things. There is more danger outside the walls, more danger other than the walkers. Morgan is back, and at the end of the episode right after rick shoots Pete you see Morgan, Daryl, and Aaron looking right at Rick. I think Morgan will have some things to say to Rick about what he just witnessed. But I think Morgan and Rick have experienced different things, but maybe it's resulted in different things for them. Rick sees the world one way, maybe the way Morgan use to when he almost killed Rick. Or maybe Morgan hasn't experienced exactly what Rick and his group has with the Governor, the Prison, Terminus, the claimed gang... that is a lot. So maybe Morgan sees things the way the Rick did before Prison got real bad, and Terminus. Rick trusted people more, and let them live often. Now he doesn't trust anyone. And in a zombie apocalypse can you really trust people? I think eventually Morgan will see what needs to be done. Maybe once the wolves attack Alexandria.
I do think Rick did the right thing with Pete, but maybe he could have banished him.. but if he did that, what if Pete came back with people and attacked. (like the Governor) And of course there isn't a jail, or a rehab facility for people like Pete in this world. The group hasn't ran into any good doctors since Hershel, and he wasn't even a doctor he was a vet. lol
Of course Carol was awesome as always in the finale. She threatened Pete, and really pissed him off. But I do think he was scared of her, and knew she could kill him. And that's what made him even more pissed. Carol is so awesome, and one of my favorite characters. But honestly she was making Rick think about things, and putting bad stuff in his head. "you know what you have to do Rick, you have to kill him", really Carol there's no other option. Of course really I guess there wasn't, but she sounded a little crazy, it made me think, is Rick really running the group or is Carol putting idea's in his head?
Back to Morgan I seen a video somewhere that showed Morgan using his walking stick to defend off walkers, but it was a light saber instead of a walking stick. That was awesome, he seriously could've been a Jedi, Michonne too I think. =) But in the finale, he did fight amazingly. It's like all of a sudden Morgan is like a male Michonne. He helped save Daryl and Aaron's life. So I'm glad he was there, cause I don't want Daryl to die, but if he did I'd still watch the show, like I posted before. =) Aaron left his backpack behind in the trap set by the wolves, and they had all his pictures and stuff of the community. So it doesn't look good for Alexandria. Looks like they need to learn how to defend their fort, pretty quick.
Like always this was an awesome finale for the show, surprisingly no one important died. I thought Glenn was going to, cause he was in the woods fighting with Nicholas, but they fought and worked things out. (I don't see how, I wouldn't want to work things out with someone who shot me. lol) But none of the characters died, except for Pete. And no one really cares about him. I guess no one died in the finale because there was plenty of sadness this season already with the deaths of Beth, Tyrese, and Noah. All fantastic scenes by the way. Overall like always with the Walking Dead finales, I loved it. =)
Can't wait till next season!! I really want to visit Senoia again soon!

The Walking Dead Episode 13

Let me just start this post by saying did any other ladies out there wish they was Jessie?? I know I did!! I seriously got butterflies when Rick kissed her cheek. And the episode before, that shower scene, then him getting supplies from Jessie, SHIRTLESS! Whew... oh my lord. Andrew Lincoln is seriously looking gorgeous.
Oh my....

Ok moving on, this episode was a but of a surprise for me. The surprise was that scene with Daryl in the field. I read somewhere that, that scene was going to be in the season finale, and it left me thinking that Daryl might die. But nope, that scene happened tonight with three more episodes left for this season. So obviously the information that I read was bad, or a BIG trick.
I liked that Aaron and Eric gave Daryl a job. The look on his face when he sees the bike and all the tools, was priceless. (Almost like a kid that had just seen their perfect toy)
Before this happened there was the event in the field, where I thought Daryl might die, but sadly it was a horse instead. (RIP Buttons) I have to admit that Aaron did seem a little sneaky, like he was watching Daryl. I don't know if this is one big plot that could put him against Rick (I don't really think that'd happen), if Aaron might have been hunting wha-bits (he, he) , or if he really might have been following Daryl just to see how he does with certain things, and invite him to be a recruiter.
Carol really cracks me up. I love what she said to Sam, but honestly I thought she was gonna pull a "Just look at the flowers.."  =D
I think she did the right thing cause that kid looked terrified. I don't even know if he'll be eating any of her cookies.
I was bummed to see Michonne hang her sword on the wall. =(
The only other thing that caught my eye with this episode was the sneaky kiss that Rick gave Jessie.  =)  They have some chemistry going on. Enough chemistry that I felt like I was in school again with a crush on some hot guy. lol I think I might have made my husband mad by how I was talking about Andrew Lincoln and the butterflies I got from that scene. (oops) But hey it's not like he doesn't look at the women on Black Sails. And I loved the dirty look he gave Jessie's husband. I thought for a min there he was actually gonna shoot him.
Oh and there was the walker Carol, Rick and Daryl found outside the walls that was marked with a W. I'm guessing that means Wolves, another clue of whats to come.
What did you think of this episode?
Here's a sneak peek of the next one!
The graphic's aren't the best with this video, but it doesn't look really bad. There is another preview aired by the Talking Dead that shows more of Rick giving some evil looks towards Jessie's husband.

The Originals "What is a mineral totem?, and what is yours?"

On the last episode of "The Originals", Jackson gave Haley a pendant that was her 'mineral totem'.  He explained that she was born during a harvest moon, and what stone went along with it which is Amethyst. (I'm pretty sure he said it was an Amethyst stone, not sure though, but he did say Harvest Moon)
Now if you're a die hard fan of the show, you might want to know what your mineral totem is, and try to get a pendant of your own. Or if you're like me, a fan of the show, and of native american things, then you're interested in just knowing your mineral totem for those reasons.
So I googled mineral totems and this is what I found.
This is straight from a website I found called crystal-cure.com.
"A totem is any natural or mythical animal to whom you feel a close connection during your life or some particular period of your life. The energy of the totem animal speaks to you in some way that is relevant to your own personality or circumstance in life.

The totem is connected to your spirit.

Native peoples of many countries have animal spirits that play a very important part in their lives. In Chinese astrology all the signs are animals and in western astrology most of the signs are animals.
By getting to know your animal totem, you can gain insight and understanding of your own life circumstances more clearly, and share in the totem power or 'medicine'. Animal totems manifest a specific kind of energy that will align to forces of the spiritual realm that are influencing your life."
If you look around on this website, you'll find your mineral totem and animals connected to it.
It's so weird, because I've always loved butterflies, and it freaked me out when I started reading about my mineral totem.

Corn Planting Moon: May 21 - Jun 20

May 21 - Jun 20
  • Birth Moon: Corn Planting
  • Animal Totem: Deer
  • Mineral Totem: Moss Agate
  • Plant Totem: Yarrow
  • Directional Totem: Golden Eagle
  • Elemental Clan Totem: Butterfly
  • Affinity Color: Green
  • Personality Traits: quick, alert, expressive, charming, curious, friendly, versatile, intuitive, compassionate, witty, understanding
So as you can see, the butterfly is my elemental clan totem. My animal totem is the Deer. And on the website it explains what that means also.
So since I knew what my mineral totem was, I looked up pendants on Etsy made with Moss Agate. I truthfully had never heard of Moss Agate, but had heard of Agate. The stone moss agate, is also known as the garden stone. Here is what the website said about Moss Agate.
Moss Agate:
Agate, specifically moss agate, is the Corn-planting Moon's mineral totem. Agate, in general, is a very stabilizing stone on all levels. This is good for Deer people whose emotions tend to run wild.
Agate can also help Deer people with stabilizing their thoughts and actions, thus enabling them to take the time to see the truth of things. Moss agate, in addition to these properties, is also an overall healing stone and can help one in finding their inner truth and courage when facing difficult situations.
Moss agate is a grounding and energizing stone that is also helpful in alleviating depression and enhancing one's dreams.
So it's very interesting that this stone is good for stabilizing thoughts and actions, because my mind does run wild sometimes. I have anxiety issues, so my emotions are kinda all over the place.
It's truly a beautiful stone, it's transparent like in color with green veins running through it. (giving it the moss color)
On Etsy I found the perfect pendant for me and I ordered it. Here is what it looks like.
It's a moss agate butterfly pendant, with an added crystal quartz to amplify the healing power of the moss agate stone.
I received it today, and I love it. It looks so neat, and I can't wait to put it on my favorite chain.
If you want to find out what your mineral totem is, and more information like your animal totem, check out the website listed below.

This pic is to show you the veins that run through the stone. ;)

If Daryl Dies will we riot?? #TheWalkingDead

It's a statement that is on bags, and signs that have to deal with The Walking Dead. "If Daryl Dies, we Riot!", but.... will we really riot? And what good will it do??
My reasoning behind this question is the preview that aired after the episode last night. It showed Daryl, obviously on a run, and he goes to raise his crossbow to kill a walker, then someone behind him looks like their gonna fire a gun at him. (The someone looks like Aiden) I found an article from Entertainment Weekly that said that certain scene happens in the season finale which airs March 29. So what happens? Of course we'll have to wait and see. But it would be the season finale, would they let Daryl Die during the 90 minute season finale so it would end with a BANG!?
Since it is a season finale, and the show is The Walking Dead (they have no problem killing off people), Daryl isn't really a main character, and he wasn't even in the comics, he could possibly die.
Now he is one of my favorite characters, I liked the mystery of him, he is a sexy character, and of course Norman Reedus is sexy. Believe me I am a fan of the character, I have a Daryl poster on my closet door.

But if the character died... would I riot, and never watch the show again??        No, I wouldn't riot, and I'd definitely keep watching the show. The show is awesome, it was awesome before I picked Daryl as one of my favorite characters, and it will be awesome after he's no longer on it.
Game of Thrones, is an awesome show, and look at how many characters they have killed off! I loved Rob Stark, and Ned Stark, but yea they got killed. But the show went on, and it's still awesome.
Yes it would be a bummer if Daryl died, I'd be sad, and probably bawl like I did when Beth, Lori, Andrea and Hershel died. But I'd still watch the show. Would the show lose some fans? I'm sure they will, cause there's people who watch the show just for Daryl probably.
I don't really see them killing him off this season, but they are at a point where he's even wondering what he's suppose to be doing. He almost acts like he's lost. But he's still a strong character, and definitely makes the group stronger.
All that I've stated in this blog post, is just my opinion. Everyone has their own. Obviously I hope they don't kill Daryl off for a while, but if they do, the show will go on, and I'll still watch it.

Here's a sneak peek at the next episode of The Walking Dead!!

XOVoxbox from Influenster!!

Hello Jewells!! Influenster sent me this great Voxbox complimentary and it's full of random products to rate and review!!
Check out my unboxing video!
I will be updating this post with reviews and photos of each product!! So check back often!

John Frieda Beyond Smooth

I've used this set influenster sent me twice so far. My opinion of this Shampoo line, is I LOVE IT!! After I use the shampoo my hair doesn't feel dry like it does with other shampoos. The conditioner rinses out easily, and your head doesn't feel weighed down, or look greasy after using this set. My hair feels so soft now, and I definitely will be buying this in the future. I'd say it's worth the money.
The next product I used is the Skinfix hand cream that you can find at Target, or Target.com.
It didn't really have a smell, and it doesn't look like a lotion as far as the texture. It reminds me of a paste, without the gritty feeling. This lotion absorbs into your skin in about a minute. So until it does you will have this greasy kind of feeling on your skin. But no worries it does go away! The price is ok, not the cheapest, but I'd say overall it's better than a cheap lotion, and will help your dry skin way more.
*Adore me coupon
I received a coupon code from Influenster to get a set of lingerie from Adore Me for free if I sign up for the monthly VIP membership. The lingerie looked really nice, and I did pick out a set, but sadly I couldn't get my free set, because Adore Me does not accept prepaid credit cards. =( So I was very disappointed. I subscribe to a monthly boxes here and there, and I only use a prepaid credit card, because I don't have a regular credit card. I add my money to the card so I know that any subscription box I have is paid for. And yes my prepaid card had plenty of money on it, and they wouldn't accept it. So I was bummed that I couldn't get my free lingerie set. So I really can't leave a review for this product.
Tidy Pods with Febreeze!
I love these little things! They do the job and they smell wonderful!! They're so much easier to use, instead of using powder detergent or liquid!

Black Sails Season 2 Ep. 5, Were you as surprised as me??

Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched the show at all, or this episode DON'T READ THIS! Watch the show from the beginning, start with Season 1. =)

The title of my blog post says it all in one word "surprised". I was left very surprised after viewing this episode.
I recently started watching this show after my best friend suggested it. And like I do when I find a great show, I binged. I watched it non stop until I was completely caught up. In fact like I posted on my Facebook page, I have a new favorite pirate captain (no offense to Captain Jack Sparrow, or Captain Hook from OUAT) and his name is Captain Charles Vane. I mean, really, who doesn't like a mysterious, bad boy, but sweet, sexy pirate captain??
But anyways back to the episode. I don't do really detailed descriptions of the episodes, and I don't write about every single episode of shows that I like. It's mostly the episodes that catch my eye, and surprise me.
I was surprised 2-3 times in this episode. First time, when Eleanor Guthrie runs back to Charles Vane, and they "get together". I'm so confused by this woman. Hey Eleanor, either you want him, or you don't, he obviously cares about you. If you don't send him my way. ;)
Next surprise came when Flint chose to fire upon the fort. That decision actually came at the end of episode 4 but I was still surprised he went through with it. Mr. Scott made such a good argument at the end of that episode, I thought for sure Flint would change his mind.
But then with the 3rd surprise I found out why he didn't.
I didn't really understand why they were doing all the flash backs still in this episode, but later I was glad they did.
I expected the love affair between Flint and Mrs. Hamilton, but I wasn't expecting the love affair between Mr. Hamilton and Flint.
That left me staring at the TV with a  =O what just happened look. But if that is what makes Flint happy, I'm all for it. Question, was I the only one surprised?? I did notice Flint didn't act to happy while he was getting it on with Ms. Barlowe (A.K.A Mrs. Hamilton). But it just didn't dawn on me then, that he actually loved Thomas Hamilton.
So maybe he's doing this whole thing about Nassau as vengeance for Thomas? To make sure Thomas's dream lives on, and that it gets done??
And again Eleanor confuses me, because last I saw her she was talking with her dad about no longer exporting stolen goods. So what does that mean for the pirates??
And last time I seen my man Mr. Charles Vane he looked like he was trying to chop off Flint's head. I really thought he was going to for a minute there.
And we can't forget Ann and Jack. Poor Ann, she had to have seen that coming with her not being wanted on the new ship Max helped put together. Think about it, according to Jack Sparrow's crew it's bad luck to have a woman on board anyways. I don't know if that's the way it is in Black Sails though. Guess we'll have to wait and see if they get into that. Ann is a very mysterious woman, and now that I know she was an actual pirate, I'm probably gonna look her up and see how her life really went.
Anyways this is such a great show. I'm so glad I was introduced to it, and can't wait to see what will happen next.
Check out the preview for the next episode down below!

The DUFF, is it worth seeing?

Yesterday I was setting at my computer, and on Facebook I came upon a page for "The DUFF", which I had just seen the night it came out. Some of the comments that were posted were pretty crazy. A few examples include something like the main actress being to old to play a high school student, and another about having seen this kind of movie before with "She's all That".
I agree that we have seen this kind of movie before, examples include " She's all That", "Drive me Crazy", "The Princess Dairies", "The Breakfast Club", "Love Don't Cost a Thing", "Clueless" and even "Pretty Woman". All these movies include someone being made over, in some way. But no one has actually said that there was an actual name for these people. But if you think about it there has been names given, "Basket case" and "Nerd", just to name a few. So I don't really think that the movies I listed are similar to "The DUFF". Their story lines, maybe so. But in the end of "The DUFF" Bianca doesn't really get made over as far as clothes and make up, it's more like she gets a reality check, and starts feeling comfortable with being "The DUFF". So maybe there is something in common with all the movies I listed. Don't all the women or men that get made over end up feeling better about themselves, and more comfortable in their own skin?? Hollywood is always making a new version of older movies, or story lines, so I don't think that's ever going to change.
As far as the actress playing Bianca looking much older than the other actresses. It's true she is older. Bella Thorne who plays the most popular girl in school, who has a bad attitude is only 17-18ish. Mae Whitman who plays Bianca is 26 years old.
I knew the actress was older, because I remembered seeing her in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", and Bella Thorne was on Disney when this came out. But when I was setting in the theater watching the movie, I didn't pick out her features one by one, and say "OMG she has wrinkles, and she's suppose to be a high school student!". I didn't even notice anything like that. I think comparing her to other girls who have done a similar role, she was awesome.
So is this movie worth seeing? I think it's a cute teen movie. I'm 30, and both me and my husband enjoyed it. If you're tired of this type of story line maybe it's not for you. I personally loved movies like "She's all That" and "Ten Things I Hate About You". They were awesome. Now if you're a parent, and your child is in middle school or younger, this movie does have some perverted things in it. There's a lot of talking about sex, and some bad things happening to a manikin. The movie is funny, but I wouldn't say it's hilarious. Hope this information helps you make your decision about seeing it!
For more information about DUFF's presently and DUFF's from the past, check out this article on Entertainment Weekly's website!!
It is where I grabbed this picture of Mae Whitman as Bianca.

Spring Break is around the corner! Where are you headed??

Hey all!! I know I haven't written anything in a while, but I've been pretty busy dealing with things at home. My husband was laid off for about two weeks, so we had a financial situation we were going through. But luckily he's back at work now, and has been for a couple weeks.
All I've been thinking about for the past few months is going to Florida for Spring Break. We booked our hotel, we have the money now, so I've been pretty excited. But, then I started thinking about stuff I haven't done yet. There's places in Kentucky I haven't been to in years, my kids haven't seen them yet, also I've been wanting to go to a concert badly. The last concert I went to was a local music festival years ago, the first one actually, with Jason Aldean headlining. I loved it, but I had to go by myself, because my husband worked with a carnival. There's also Disney on Ice this month, which my kids have never seen, but have always wanted to go. So I think I've decided that Florida can wait until maybe Fall Break. That way we have more time to save up money for our trip, and we can go to a few smaller things before our trip without worrying about using our Florida money.
I've already picked out a concert. I'd like to see Kacey Musgraves in Louisville. The tickets are a great price, and she's a great country music artist, so why not. =) There's also a couple local festivals that I'd like to go to. Last year they had Vince Gill at one of them.
With so much that my kids haven't experienced, I figured Florida, which they have seen, can wait till another time.
So what are you doing for your Spring Break?
Heading to a beach? Going camping? Whatever it is you're doing, I hope you and your friends or family have a great time, and enjoy every minute of it!!
